An Accessory for My Self-Image

The Nasty Woman cap, residue from last year’s election, sports an LCD screen and the guts of a digital scale which connect, through red, white and blue wires, to weight sensors under the steel shoes, thus displaying for all, the weight of the wearer. The cumbersome process of donning the cap and shoes contrast with how easily we let society’s whims become automatic negative filters on our self-worth.
